Six staff from Credit Suisse South Africa commenced an invaluable mentoring programme for our South African beneficiaries in March 2011. Credit Suisse have published an article about the mentoring programme this quarter in their Private Client magazine Bulletin.

Congratulations and a huge thank you to two amazing clouddog alumni. Georgia Doolan plans an event every year with her dad and this year they chose to fundraise for clouddog via the Nightrider Challenge. The course is made up of 100km circuit through and around London that started after midnight on Saturday. Taking them through the middle of a rowdy and traffic packed at 1.30am the pair said they couldn't believe how many people in the capital were still 'out and about'. Tim said that coming through Blackheath at sunrise was a highlight as was getting to the finish line this morning at the top of a steep hill at Alexandra Palace. Tim and Georgia have raised nearly £2000 for clouddog so far.
Vergil Wong, who was also on the clouddog programme in 2010 with Georgia, rode with Gerogia and her dad to make up the formidable trio. With almost no training before the event, he did an amazing job - including a last minute sprint up the Ally Pally hill! - Vergil has raised nearly £400 for clouddog. Both Vergil and Georgia were the youngest riders taking part in this event as entry is normally limited to 18yr olds and upwards. the clouddog team are very proud of all their efforts and wish them a long hot bath and a sleepy Sunday on the sofa.

Our dedicated supporter Andreas Schoenherr raced in the Zurich Marathon on Sunday 17th April making his new personal best of 3:27:28. We will shortly announce the final fundraising total for his efforts. Andreas is taking a well deserved two week break now. Here is a picture of him after the race celebrating with his gorgeous son Jan-Pieter. Thanks Andreas and thanks to his wife Marianne for supporting him through his training too!

Buy tickets at the The Great Big Small Charity Car Draw online. Nearly £70k was raised last year by 211 Small Charities who participated in the draw. clouddog is delighted to be involved this year so get cracking and get yourself the cutest new car for summer!
